The Hornets Nest Sub Shop celebrates 40 great years! We are the home of the North Reading Hornets and proud to be located in the wonderful community of North Reading, MA 01864. The Hornets Nest sub shop first became famous for their cheese steaks subs. We only use fresh, high quality beef loins for all our steak subs. We never use inferior boxed frozen pre-cut shaved steak. We hand cut our steak loins daily and still prepare "our famous" steak and cheese subs the same "ORIGINAL WAY" ! You will not taste a better cheese steak anywhere!
"NEW" ~ NOW SERVING FRESH BAKED FRENCH LOAF SUB ROLLS ~ BAKED HERE FRESH ALL DAY!
In addition to "our famous" cheese steaks we also serve:
Hand Tossed Italian Thin Crust Pizza and Delicious Calzones. We make our own dough and sauce fresh daily on the premises.
We cook our "our own" Roast Beef using only Choice Top Beef
and cook "our own" Oven Roasted Turkey Breasts.
We make our own "home-made " chicken cutlets and "home-made" meatballs for subs.
We offer a large Variety of Freshly made Salads
Antipasto, Chef, Cesar, Grilled Chicken Kabob, Marinated Sirloin Steak Tip Kabob, Buffalo Chicken,
Tuna, Fresh Cooked Chicken Salad, Greek, & Garden.
All salads are made with Fresh Crisp romaine lettuce. We never use iceberg lettuce.
A new salad just added to the menu is a customer fav ~ Cranberry-Walnut Chicken Salad .
You may request optional grilled veggies or cranberries and walnuts for any salad.
We marinate our own sirloin steak tips & grilled chicken tips and cook them on the B.B.Q. Pit.
We have a large variety of specialty signature wraps, subs, dinner plates and of course all the sides: chicken fingers, buffalo chicken wings & fingers, mozzarella sticks, onion rings french fries and much much more....
We would be happy to cater your office of home party. We specialize in 3' & 6' Subs, Wrap platters, Party trays ( cold cut platters), Finger Sandwiches, Salad Trays, Sicilian Pizza Trays, Calzones, Pasta, Homemade Chicken Cutlet Parmesan trays, Homemade meatball trays, Sausage, Pepper, & Onion trays, and more.
